2011 - One hail of a year in Maryland!

2011 will go down in local weather history as a very active year for hail storms throughout the state of Maryland. Hail storms cause millions of dollars of damage to homes and other personal property including vehicles each year throughout Maryland. As one of the more destructive forces in weather hail activity is not usually considered a good thing by Maryland homeowners. Many Maryland homes that were hit by hail in 2011 have yet to be inspected for signs of hail damage. A hail damage inspection requires great skill and experience as many untrained individuals would not have any idea of what to look for. An inaccurate finding of "no damage" by an untrained unskilled individual could lead to major headaches later on. Hail damages your home cosmetically and structurally. A hail damaged roof will undoubtedly lead to a premature failure causing wood underneath of the shingle to rot. This rotted wood will allow water to eventually enter your home through the compromised roof. Water leaking into a home is always a major problem leading to further damages on the homes interior and major health concerns such as mold. A trained hail damage inspector such as the catastrophe recovery specialists employed by Nations Home Remodelers, Inc. of Beltsville, Maryland will accurately diagnose the extent of any hail damage you may have. The catastrophe recovery specialist will then report damage findings to your insurance company. A successful recovery process will include a great deal of coordination by a general contractor specializing in hail damage insurance recovery such as Nations Home Remodelers, Inc.. Most roofing and siding contractors in Maryland have very little if any experience in identifying hail damage. Even more importantly most general contractors in Maryland have little if any experience with the complicated insurance claims process. Nations Home Remodelers, Inc. of Beltsville, Maryland is one of a small handful of Maryland Contractors with the know how to get insurance claims closed out and restoration services performed in a timely and efficient manner. Insurance restoration clients get the added benefit of a dedicated catastrophe recovery team in the field and in the office who will assist and guide homeowners through every step of the process. Hail storm damage should be reported as soon as it can be verified by a trained hail damage recovery specialist. If you live in a hail impacted area do not delay having your hail damage inspection performed as some insurance companies allow as little as six months from the date a loss to file a claim. Nations Home Remodelers, Inc. is actively performing insurance restoration projects related to hail storms in the following areas:
